Sports Day at Soi 4

I’ve got a video to share with you all. This weekend we were visited by a group of young people from Singapore. We coordinated this year’s Sports Day at Somprasong 4 to coincide with their trip. It’s call “Sports Day,” but it’s really a “Get Really Messy Game Day.” I’ll try and explain what the games were, but I’m still not sure of all the rules. The first was a relay race where you had to keep a bicycle wheel rolling, and if you let it drop, you were pelted with water balloons. The second was a blind obstacle course where you had to find and pop balloons filled with powder, guided by your group. If you touched one of the many water jugs, you were pelted with water balloons. In the third game you had to find a numbered card inside a collapsed tent that was filled with a slimy water/soap mixture (I think) before the other teams. This was by far the messiest. And the guy dressed up as a crazy soldier, that’s P.Duey. He wasn’t dressed like that for any particular reason, other than he is P.Duey.
