Thailand Snapshots
Snapshot #13 - Bangkok under Water
Even thought the last couple of days have been dry, for a little over a month it has rained in Bangkok pretty much every day. This is the aftermath of one pretty good rainstorm.

Snapshot #11 - A Bench at the Beach
This is an old bench under the meeting pavilion at the Cha-am Beach campsite.
Snapshot #10 - Hello from Malaysia
I wanted to get a quick post up here while we are still in Malaysia. We landed here on the 20th so that we could come to the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur early Monday morning. The visa that allowed us to stay in Thailand expired on the 20th, and we needed to [...]
Snapshot #9 - Princess
I’ve almost stepped on this little pooch on more than one occasion. She belongs to one of the many street vendors that line the road as you go to the church building at Somprasong 4. She’s all the time running up and down the sidewalk, and the only warning you get of her [...]
Snapshot #8 - 99% Cambodian
I snapped this one evening walking past a line of storefronts in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is sad that the ingeniousness of this probably went entirely unnoticed. To attest to this, the shop offering the Body Spa, Facial, Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Manicure, and Pedicure service that put this up was completely empty.
Snapshot #7 - Spiderboy *Cambodia Special*
I met Spiderboy, really named Ting, outside of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. He and two other kindergarten-aged girls where out targeting tourists with over-priced postcards. It is a gross understatement to say that these kids were persistent in their pursuit to separate me from my money. I met their teary-eyed, whiny pleas [...]
Snapshot # 6 - Little Girl Waterside, and…
I took this picture in 2006 on an outing we made outside of Bangkok. It was at a fish farm/roadside eatery/Buddhist temple.
Also, I’m headed to Cambodia (again) with a group of 9 other Thai Christians tomorrow at 5 am. Dalissa’s going to stay here and hold down to fort, safe and sound in [...]
Snapshot #5 - Apartment View
We recently moved into an apartment in Bangkok. This is our view.
Snapshot #4 - Moblie Broom/Brush Shop
I see this man, all the time, riding/pushing his broom-laden bike up and down the same soi (side street) as Somprasong 4, most of the time honking a small toy bicycle horn. How you are able to attach so much merchandise to a bicycle, I’m still not quite sure.
